A traditionally maintained industry in sri lanka. These industries are widespread in different areas. Wevaldeniya, kandy , pilimathalawa, are examples of this. Industries are maintaind using raw materials locally. 

Labor here is traditional labour. This creates exploymet opportunities for the unemployed. Examples of these industries are woods carving masks, cane, brass, batik, products , beer weaving, ect. 

These industries have also managed to attract tourists. These traditional in dustries in sri lanka and bring foreign exchange to sri lanka.

Vesak festival is a religious festival. It is celebrated during May, by Buddhists all over the world. On this day, all Buddhists go to the temple, offer flowers, light oil lamps, and worship the Buddha. Most of the Buddhists observe sil. Our whole family observes sil on this day. We make beautiful Vesak lanterns. We light the oil lamps and Vesak buckets in the evening. Houses are decorated with Buddhist flags and streamers. It is very beautiful in the night. People go to see the pandals. Lots of people go on pilgrimages. Small children are very happy. I’m counting the days until Vesak comes.

 Environment is essential for human survival The environment is a unit formed by a combination of people , animals, trees, ect.  This is a beautiful design.  It helps the environment to survive for animals as well as humans since ancient times, man has lived with the environment  and all been connected with the environment .
